Who we are
AIShortlist is operated by Vera Bilisim, a software studio based in Turkiye. The app measures whether a store’s products are named by AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
What the app stores
- Store identity. Your myshopify domain and store name. The domain is how we tell one store from another.
- Product information. Titles, descriptions and categories, used to build the buyer questions we measure and to report which product was recommended.
- Measurement results. The questions asked, the answers returned by AI engines, which brands were named and in which position, and your visibility score over time.
What the app does not store
No personal data about your customers. The app does not request access to orders or customers at all. No card or payment data at any point: subscriptions are billed by Shopify and we never see payment details.
Who we send data to
To measure visibility we send buyer questions to OpenAI, Google and Perplexity. These are generic category questions such as best handmade leather wallet brands. Your store data, customer data and order data are never sent to these providers.
How long we keep it
Measurement history is kept while the app is installed, so you can see whether visibility improves. When you uninstall, measurement stops immediately. When Shopify sends the shop redaction request that follows an uninstall, your store record and its measurement history are permanently deleted.
The AI answers themselves are kept as shared category data. They contain no information about your store and are reused so that the same question is not paid for twice.
Your requests
You can ask what we hold, ask for a copy, or ask for deletion at any time by writing to bilgi@verabilisim.com. We also answer the customer data request, customer redaction and shop redaction webhooks that Shopify sends on your behalf.
Changes
If this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes are announced inside the app before they take effect.
